Winning local derbies are one of the best moments in sports and the Kings Head Laxfield Lovelies enjoyed sweet success over their 'stablemates' Laxfield A, last Wednesday evening (24th June) with a 3-1 victory.
This was the Lovelies first league win and will start to push them up from the foot of the table and with half the league fixtures still to go, they have plenty of time to push further up the table, especially as the league positions are so tight in the Blyth Division.
