2012 ''Early Bird'' Registration - Discounted Period ended

We have received 34 entries for the 2012 season via our ''Early Bird'' Registration Scheme, but this ended on Monday 31st October, with the Registration Fee rising to £15 per team thereafter.

If you require Registration Forms, then please contact the League Co-Ordinator.

Success at the Suffolk Sports Awards 2011

At the recent Gala Presentation evening, held at Trinity Park, Ipswich, we picked up the runners-up spot in the BBC Radio Suffolk sponsored category in the 2011 Suffolk Sports Awards.

This is a major achievement for the league in only its 4th season of existence and made the ''bigger sports'' sit up and take notice of us, as we were probably the most minority sport represented at the event (with the exception of perhaps wheelchair basketball).

The League Co-Ordinator was interviewed by BBC Radio Suffolk directly after the presentation ceremony and this interview was aired by BBC Radio Suffolk in various programmes during the course of last week.

No Sooner Has The Dust Settled.....

Yes, whilst we were completing the 2011 Grand Finals at Blyford a short while back, it also signalled the start of the Registration process for the 2012 season.

Using the ''Early Bird'' Scheme like we did for the 2011 season, we have already (as at 12th October) got 17 teams registered. Four of these entrants are new teams and their names/locations will be revealed in due course.

In the meantime, please be aware that the Early Bird Scheme will currently end on the 31st October, with registration being £12 per team, before rising to £15 per team from 1st November onwards (subject to further review).

Suffolk Sports Awards 2011

We are attending the 2011 Suffolk Sports Awards this year, on Sunday 16th October, as being one of three shortlisted for an award in one of the 16 or so categories at this years Awards Ceremony, due to be held at Trinity Park, Ipswich.

Thank you for your nominations and keep your fingers crossed for us.
